Join us at Barstow’s Longview Farm for Open Farm Saturday!
We will be offering free farm tours at:
- 10am – walking tour
- 11am – walking tour
- noon-2pm – as many wagon tours as we can get through! wagon seats ~20 adults.
- *please note that you must be with a guide to tour our farm for biosecurity and safety reasons, thank you!*
Mac&Cheese window will be open 11am-2pm. We’re converting our drive thru window to serve up our homemade Cabot Mac and some drinks for convenience.
Live music on the porch with Old Country Road, the best vintage country bluegrass in the Valley, 1pm-3pm.
Check out our equipment! Families are welcome to explore our farm trucks and tractors that will be parked in the field near Barstow’s Dairy store and Bakery. Children must be supervised at all times.
As a co-op, Cabot Creamery is proud to be owned by farm families in New York and New England who each and every day provide the fresh milk for their cheese and dairy products.
Cabot invites you to visit some of the local family farms, and meet the cows, behind the World’s Best Cheddar. Many Cabot farms are open to the public and the farmers are excited to welcome visitors to enjoy a taste of the farm. There’s so much to see, taste and enjoy! Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery and Barstow’s Longview Farm is owned and operated by sixth and seventh generation Barstow’s. Nestled at the base of Skinner State Park and right alongside the Connecticut River, the dairy farm has been a part of the landscape since 1806.
Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery offers homemade baked goods and pies, lunch from local ingredients, farm fresh produce, farm raised beef, ice cream, and scenic views of protected farmland from the porch and dining room. This family friendly store is open daily year round. Come meet your neighborhood dairy farmer!
