Please join us for a tour of Barstow’s Longview Farm on Friday, November 10 at 10am.
This tour will visit our anaerobic digester, silo storage, milking barn, robotic milker, and calf barn.
Farm tour begins and ends at Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery. We cannot accomodate late arrivals, you must be with a guide to be on the farm. If you have arrived after the tour has left, we are so sorry, you’ll have to come back for a tour another time. Thank you!
Our educational farm tour is geared toward adults. This walking tour is just under 1/4 of a mile and involves hills, uneven terrain, mud, and weather. Please dress accordingly for the weather, most of the tour is outdoors. Tour will happen rain or shine.
Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery and Barstow’s Longview Farm is owned and operated by sixth and seventh generation Barstow’s. Nestled at the base of Skinner State Park and right alongside the Connecticut River, the dairy farm has been a part of the landscape since 1806.
Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery offers homemade baked goods and pies, lunch from local ingredients, farm fresh produce, farm raised beef, ice cream, and scenic views of protected farmland from the porch and dining room. This family friendly store is open daily year round. Come meet your neighborhood dairy farmer!
