Anniversary Burger Night

Amidst a crashing milk market and a struggling economy in the early 2000s, the Barstow’s were faced with a choice, get out of agriculture, or diversify.
The motto of the family business is “Looking forward since 1806.”
And so, armed with nearly 200 years of farming history and farmers daughter Shannon Barstow’s dream of opening a bakery, the Barstow’s unlocked the doors to Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery on June 30, 2008.
Celebrate with us on June 30, 2018 as we roll up our sleeves and welcome our neighbors to one of our favorite summer-time staples: Burger Night! And sure you’ve been to Burger Night’s before, but with plenty of talk and planning, we’ve decided to go with what we know and what we love.
Anniversary Burger Night is Saturday, June 30 from 5pm-7pm.
Born and raised right here on Barstow’s Longview Farm, our burgers are as fresh and local as it gets! Grill runs 5pm-7pm and Barstow’s kitchen is open until 8pm. You can see our Anniversary menu here.
Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery and Barstow’s Longview Farm is owned and operated by sixth and seventh generation Barstow’s. Nestled at the base of Skinner State Park and right alongside the Connecticut River, the dairy farm has been a part of the landscape since 1806.
Barstow’s Dairy Store and Bakery offers homemade baked goods and pies, lunch from local ingredients, farm fresh produce, farm raised beef, ice cream, and scenic views of protected farmland from the porch and dining room. This family friendly store is open daily year round. Come meet your neighborhood dairy farmer!
